Thumb Wrestling Federation, hosted by two thumb commentators (Dick Thompson and Colonel Coassack), is a children's live-action television series that features outrageous characters (each played by a thumb) as they battle it out in a wrestling match. Hoping to win the TWF title, the Dexteras (the heroes) battle it out with the Sinistras (the evil-doers). Modeled after the World Wrestling Federation, TWF provides family wrestling entertainment without the violence and a welcomed sense of humor. Each of the thumb wrestlers assumes a persona, often times including outlandish costumes and clever catch phrases. The show's regular characters include Vini Vidi Victory, Hometown Huck, Wasabi, Mr. Extremo, Face-Off Phil, Danny Kaboom, Cleat Cunningham, and Lucky O'Leary. Larry Schwarz, of Animation Collective, created the hit series in 2006. Currently in it's sixth season, TWF premiered in the United States on the WB, and currently broadcasts each half hour episode on BBC Two and the Cartoon Network.MORE
