Through the Wormhole

Through the Wormhole, hosted by Morgan Freeman, is a science-fiction show on The Science Fiction channel that hopes to scratch the surface of some of the larger questions about our universe with the help of popular scientists. The questions posed have plagued humanity since the dawn of time -- What are we made of? What was there before the big bang? Are we alone in the universe? The show tries to shed light on these questions with the help of some of the most brilliant minds in science living today. The show offers no definitive answers. Ultimately they appear to be out of the reach of human knowledge and experience. But the show does hope to pique the curiously of the audience by offering what modern science hopes to be satisfying explanations or hypothesis for these enigmas of the cosmos. Rock star guests include British particle physicist Brian Cox and American scientist Michio Kaku. The show began airing in 2010, with eight episodes having been aired since its debut. MORE
