There Goes the Neighborhood

There Goes The Neighborhood is a reality competition series on CBS, which cuts eight families off from the outside world. Without television, internet, phones, or contact with anyone outside of their suburban neighborhood, the families really are shut into the somewhat stifling bubble of their neighborhood. It gets even more stifling as the competitive spirit expands to take up more and more room within the small bubble of their existences. The families must compete against each other in challenges in order to remain on the show and in the neighborhood, because one family is banished from the neighborhood each week. Being banished means that they may no longer participate in the competition and thus are out of the running for the $250,000 grand prize, so everyone wants to stay in the neighborhood as long as possible. After all, a quarter million is a pretty good incentive! There Goes The Neighborhood is an entertaining, survivor-style family reality show that is worth checking out. MORE
