The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is an animated fantasy adventure TV series developed by DiC Entertainment based on L. Frank Baum's novel of the same name that centers on young Dorothy Gale as she works with her friends in the land of Oz to stop the Wicked Witch of the West from gaining control of the powerful ruby slippers and to save the ruler, the Wizard of Oz. When the Wicked Witch returns and resteals the proud badges of her friends, the slightly dimwitted but resourceful Scarecrow, a steely Tin Woodsman, a cowardly Lion, it is up to the compassionate orphaned farm girl from Kansas to save the day. Dorothy is pulled back and forth from her home to Oz as she takes on the minions of the Wicked Witch, including the evil West Wind, those pesky flying monkeys, malicious Jack-in-the-Boxes, and a Luminary stealing giant. It is a fun-filled adventure throughout the fantastical world of Oz with visits from all the unique and comedic creatures, even the bubbly Glinda. MORE
