The War At Home

The War at Home is a Fox sitcom about Long Island family the Golds, couple Dave (Michael Rapaport) and Vicky (Anita Barone), and their kids, 17-year-old daughter Hilary (Kaylee DeFer), 16-year-old Larry (Kyle Sullivan), and their youngest, 14-year-old Mike (Dean Collins). Dave and Vicky are doing everything they can to raise their kids right, but a house of 3 teenagers is anything but easy to control. Hilary is just embarking on dating, much to her dad’s disappointment, but she always seems to find away around his limitations. Larry is an emotional and peculiar child, suspected by his dad of being gay on account of how much time he spends with his best friend Kenny (Rami Malek). Mike deals with issues of adolescence, and while he is tougher than Larry, he still encounters plenty of the awkwardness that comes with being 14. Meanwhile, sometimes insensitive Dave and the more levelheaded Vicky struggle to keep their marriage together and set an example for their children, but it becomes difficult when it involves not partaking in alcohol, drugs, or the other things they preach against to their children.
