The Wanda Sykes Show is the short lived, late-night talk show that aired on the FOX Network. The show took over the slot previously occupied by Talkshow With Spike Feresten, and featured comedian Keith Robinson as Wanda's sidekick. Twenty-one episodes were produced between November 2009 to April 2010. About the host: Wanda Sykes began as a stand-up comedian in Washington D.C. during the late 1980s. She got her break opening for Chris Rock at the legendary Caroline's Comedy Club, and was soon writing and performing for The Chris Rock Show. She has gone on to appear in many film and television shows, including: Curb Your Enthusiasm, Pootie Tang, the Comedy Central special Tongue Untied, Wanda Does It, Crank Yankers, The New Adventures of Old Christine, and many more. She has been nominated for three Primetime Emmy Awards, and won in 1999 for "Outstanding Writing for a Variety, Music or Comedy Special."
