The Wacky World of Tex Avery is a cartoon show consisting of a variety of different segments rolled into a thirty-minute episode. Though the show was created by Brody Dowler, the series was named after famous groundbreaking cartoonist, Tex Avery, due to the fact that Dowler was such a big fan of Avery's animation and wanted to pay homage to him through his show. The Wacky World of Tex Avery contained seven separate segments: Tex Avery, the goofy goat-riding cowboy; Einstone, a brilliant caveman and the world's first inventor; Ghengis & Khannie, a lion and panda pairing; Maurice & Mooch, a chicken and fox game of cat and mouse; Pompeii Pete, a bumbling Roman living in the present day; Power Pooch, a dog with superpowers; and Freddy the Fly, an annoying fly that bugs food patrons.
