The Twilight Zone is a television serried created by Ron Serling, with episodes written by Serling as well as Charles Beaumont, and Richard Matheson. The episodes are disconnected and usually the isolated story involved fantasy, horror, science fiction, time travel, mystery, or suspense, often with a twist ending Ideas in the episode were extraordinary, while they took place in normal civilization, they had an element that would not occur in reality, leading to the phrase "the twilight zone" being used to refer to things that were weird, unexplainable, or out of the ordinary. The original definition for the term means "a gray area" and was used during the Cold war to describe areas that lacked a U.S. policy on military intervention. The original series aired from 1959-1964, there were revivals on CBS from 1985-1989 and 2002-2003.
