The Super Hero Squad Show

The Super Hero Squad Show is an animated action TV show from Marvel animation following a group of Marvel superheroes who team up to thwart Dr. Doom's plan to retrieve the "Infinity Sword." The show has a distinct super-deformed style based on the Marvel Super Hero Squad action figures. All the characters look short and chubby like small children., giving the show a very cartoonish and child-targeted look. The story goes that the villain Dr. Doom attempted to acquire the limitless owner of "the Infinity Sword" when he was stopped by Iron Man and the sword broke into many pieces that spread throughout Super Hero City, the city where all the superheroes live. Dr. Doom proceeds to team up with other well-known Marvel villains, such as Juggenaut, to retrieve the pieces and reform the Sword. Iron Man is again there to stop him, but this time he has the help of the rest of the Super Hero Squad: famous Marvel heroes Hulk, Falcon, Silver Surfer, Thor, and Wolverine. They are the official defenders of Super Hero City, but they frequently get help by other heroes such as their boss Captain America. The show has a light, joking that compliments its cartoonish appearance with plenty of comic relief moments amongst the action scenes.
