The Stagers

The Stagers is a property docu-soap on HGTV, that takes an inside look at the fast-paced life of professional home stagers. On the show, hosted by Mathew Finlason, Maureen Powers, and Bridget Savereux, the home stagers have to turn a problem house into a showroom, with limited time and resources. Nerves are grated thin, temper tantrums are almost the norm, and stress is guaranteed. But somehow, despite unexpected setbacks, time constraints, and disagreements, the team manages to pull it all together and present a fabulous house by the time the clock runs out. The show provides a great mix of entertainment and education. Since most people do not have a team of professional home stagers, or even one, on call to help them make their homes look as good as possible, the show provides the opportunity to pick up handy tips and tricks for no greater cost that watching television. At the same time, all the drama on the screen keeps the show from being a lackluster "do this...then do that" kind of show. The Stagers is fun and instructive, great for homeowners everywhere. MORE
