The Singing Bee is the NBC and CMT variety competition show where hosts Joey Fatone and Melissa Peterman bring you brave contestants ready to test their memory and singing ability in the unique singing game. The Singing Bee is a combination of karaoke and a spelling bee, where contestants must compete to remember lyrics to the popular songs they are singing. Singers are chosen from the studio audience to play games that test their lyrical knowledge, and if they miss a lyric they are out. Singing popular songs that we all think we know the lyrics too, the contestants often make humorous blunders and sometimes have amazing performances while getting every word right.
