The Secret Life of Toys is a children's TV series developed by Jim Henson Productions for Disney Channel that centers on toys whose magical presence allows them to come alive whenever their owners leave the room. It is a magical adventure for young viewers to experience just what happens when they leave their toys unattended. The fun and play never stops with these toys as Rugby the plucky tiger is always out for an adventure while Mew, the catnip mouse toy, tries to get away from the family cat. Raisin the rag doll is always a bit jealous of Daffodil, the breakable princess doll, while Hortense, the rocking horse, worries with each rock back and forth, just as Ditz, a clown plush toy, has a tendency to get all confused. The group is guided and instructed by Balthazar, the wise and very old teddy bear. The Secret Life of Toys was based on the 1986 special, The Christmas Toy, and a few of the toys have even appeared in the Odyssey Channel's shorts called Muppetisms.MORE
