The Save-Ums

Save-Ums is a Canadian animated children’s television series that ran from March 2003 to July 2006 on CBC, during the Kids’ CBC programming block. Created by Don Asher and Dan Clark and starring Tajja Isen, Cameron Ansell, Aaryn Doyle, Mitchell Eisner, Jordan Francis, and Connor Price the show is about a group of six anthropomorphic creatures called The Save-Ums who help various characters when they run into difficulty. At the beginning of each episode, The Save-Ums receive a phone call alerting them of an individual in need. They then journey to one of three destinations—Rock World, an island with a large mountain; Lava World, a tropical island with a volcano; or Wave World, an undersea destination. The Save-Ums, with their various personalities, strengths, and weaknesses, are sure to save the day.
