The Red Green Show, starring Steve Smith, centers on the title character as a handyman who relies on duct-tape to do most of the fixing for him. Red Green stars in the fictional show-within-a-show Red Green Show, in which he gives humorous advice on fixing things and other do-it-yourself projects. Green is the acting president of the Possum Lodge, a small club in fictional Possum Lake, Ontario. Red's best friends include Harold Green (Patrick McKenna), his nephew and the producer of Red's show, and Dalton Humphrey (Bob Bainborough), owner of Humphrey's Everything Store. The show was originally created as a direct parody of The Red Fisher Show, but grew to parody most fishing, outdoors, and do-it-yourself shows. In 2002 the creators of the show released a feature length version entitled Duct Tape Forever.
