The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest

The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest is a 1996 remake of the 1960's Hanna Barbara Classic "Jonny Quest," originally airing on Cartoon Network. It follows the adventures of teen prodigy Jonny Quest (J.D. Roth, Quinton Flynn), his phenomologist father Dr. Quest (George Segal, John de Lancie, ) and friends Jessie Bannon (Jesse Douglas, Jennifer Hale) and Hadji Singh (Michael Benyaer, Rob Paulson.) Billed as an "X-Files for children," the show often delved into the paranormal and unexplained, with many of the episode's plots dealing with the team investigating some mystery. A significant change from the 1960's version was the addition of "Questworld," a virtual reality realm created by Dr. Quest that the characters would use to combat enemies and research information. While in Questworld, the traditional animation of the show would transform into a fully rendered computer generated format.
