The Powerpuff Girls

The Powerpuff Girls is an animated television series that ran from 1998 to 2005 on Cartoon Network. The series is about three kindergarten girls, Blossom (Cathy Cavadini), Bubbles (Tara Strong), and Buttercup (Elizabeth Daily), who were created by nerdy Professor Utonium (Tom Kane). While trying to create the perfect little girl, from a mix of sugar, spice, and everything nice, Professor Utonium accidentally knocked some Chemical X into the mixture, creating three superhero girls, instead! Their superpowers of flight, super-strength, super-speed, super-senses, and limited invulnerability make them the perfect crime-fighting trio and the girls must, time after time, save the city of Townsville from the evil chimpanzee, Mojo Jojo (Roger Jackson). In each episode, the girls thwart an evil plan and save the world before bedtime, all while learning lessons, developing their friendships, and appreciating the value of family.
