The Pickup Artist

The Pickup Artist is a VH1 reality game TV series where master pick up artist Mystery (Erik Von Markovik) takes eight lovable losers under his wing, and with his assistants J-Dog, Matador, and Tara, teaches these socially awkward men his "Mystery Method". Mystery is a best-selling author, a former nerd who has transformed himself into a furry-hat-wearing charmer with elaborate methods for picking up women. The self proclaimed "Master Pickup Artist" has created his own methodology, with its own jargon of "sets," "the number close" and "the kiss close" among others. The eight misfits live together, and study the word of Mystery in hopes of winning their challenges which usually consist of going to a bar to try to pick up women.
