The People's Champions was a satirical reality show that aired in 2003 and included 6 episodes. The show was created to make fun of the real life sporting events coverage in general and British coverage in particular. The show was hosted by Oliver Muirhead and the panel of judges included Errie Misko and Carolina Rommel. The show participants usually took part in some silly event, like naked tricycle race and then judges announced the winner of the event. The public could also compete for the title of the People's Champions. During each show, some amateur silly challenge videos were shown and the last clip was usually announced as a winner. Oliver Muirhead did a really good job with his humorous and snarky commentary of the events, providing nice contrast to the usual exciting and energetic narration of sporting events. The show also had its British counterpart called "The People's Book of Records".MORE
