The Outer Limits

The Outer Limits is a science fiction television series that originally aired on ABC from 1963 to 1965 and had a similar style to its predecessor The Twilight Zone Each episode featured a different cast each week and the episode would open with either a cold open or a preview segment that was then followed by the trademark narration of the Control Voice, "There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission...". The series had exceptional writers tackling the outer limits of your imagination. Joseph Stefano, who was also the creator of the series and the screenwriter of Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho, and the other most notable writer was Harlan Ellison who won a Writer's Guild Award for the episode "Soldier".
