The Osbournes

The Osbournes is a reality television show that follows rock star Ozzy Osbourne into his home, where he lives with wife Sharon Osbourne and their children, Jack and Kelly, as well as a handful of pets. The Osbournes are anything but a typical tame TV family, with their foul mouths, fights with neighbors that bring police to the door, and raucous family disagreements. Ozzy is still a public figure and often has work and promotions to do, despite seeming like he’s not all there and requiring the assistance of Sharon, both his wife and his manager. Kelly is somewhat of a typical teenage girl, except for the fact that her family life is on TV, she has a mouth on her that can even offend her parents, and she’s pursuing a singing career. When the parents are away on Ozzy’s tours and appearances, Jack and Kelly can get somewhat out of control, and many family fights come from this very problem, but while a lesser mother might not be able to handle them, Sharon always puts her foot down. Add these typical family feuds to the public one Kelly has with Christina Aguilera, and the mood in the house can get pretty tense sometimes. The Osbourne family may not always get along, but their show demonstrates how many advances the family makes over the years, with Jack developing a career in music management helping out his mom, Ozzy getting it somewhat together in his career, Kelly gaining new opportunities in a variety of fields, and Sharon helping all of them advance and keeping the family together.
