The National Dog Show

The National Dog Show is an annual NBC produced competition by the American Kennel Club and Purina Dog Chow company in search for the most well bred and obedient canine! Airing every year on Thanksgiving just after the famous Macy Day Parade, the National Dog Show is held by the The Kennel Club of Philadelphia and is considered to be the most viewed dog show in America with an average viewership of twenty million people nationwide! Think your dog is man's best friend? Well check out these guys and gals, they're the cream of the crop pure bred dogs. Beauty pageants aren't only for human beings, you know. The competition is based on seven groups devised from around 150 registered breeds: terriers, toy, hound, herding, sporting, non-sporting and working.
