The King of Queens

The King of Queens was a sitcom from CBS starring Kevin James, Leah Remini, Jerry Stiller, Victor Williams, Patton Oswalt, Gary Valentine, and Nicole Sullivan. The show centers around Doug and Carrie Heffernan (Kevin James and Leah Remini), a parcel deliveryman and law firm secretary from Queens, N.Y. who share their modest home with her oddball father, Arthur (Jerry Stiller). To Doug's great displeasure, Arthur has set up shop in the Heffernan's basement after accidentally setting fire to his own house. As a result, Arthur is always around to get on Doug's nerves as he tries spending time with Carrie, his best friend and co-worker Deacon (Victor Williams), his pal Spence (Patton Oswalt), and his cousin, Danny (Gary Valentine). Arthur is such as distraction that Doug and Carrie hire a local dogwalker (Nicole Sullivan) to take Arthur along with her during her strolls in the local park. The King of Queens ran for nine seasons, from 1998 to 2007, making it the last of the American live action sitcoms that premiered in the 1990's to end its run. MORE
