The Hills

The Hills is the MTV show that follows Lauren Conrad, former star of Laguna Beach, as she lives her new life in Los Angeles, with friends Whitney Port, Audrina Patridge, Heidi Montag and Heidi's boyfriend Spencer Pratt. After high school and Laguna Beach, Lauren Conrad or LC left home to move to LA, moving in with Heidi Montag and attending Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Things go sour with Heidi and Lauren and the friends turn into enemies, and Lauren confides in her new neighbor Audrina. When Lauren asks Heidi to choose between her or her boyfriend Spencer, she chooses the latter. Lauren lands an internship at Teen Vogue where she meets new friend Whitney Port. Lauren dates friend Brody Jenner, and Audrina has a rocky relationship with Justin Brescia, whom the girls nickname Justin-Bobby. The girls all live the LA lifestyle together, dealing with relationships, fights, love, and starting their new careers in a new city. The girls end up going their separate ways, with Whitney moving to New York on her spin-off series called The City, Audrina's upcoming spin-off The Audrina Show, and Conrad passing the series lead role to Kristin Cavallari for the fifth and sixth seasons of The Hills.
