The Hard Times of RJ Berger

The Hard Times of RJ Berger is a teen comedy on MTV that focuses on the life of RJ (Paul Iacono), a 15-year old nerd who is socially awkward and bullied by his peers. RJ is struggling to make his way through high school with his best friend, the vulgar Miles Jenner (Jareb Dauplaise), while also dodging the advances of the sexually charged Lily Miran (Kara Taitz). He's just a typical kid; that is, until one day when he accidentally exposes himself in front of the entire school and everyone realizes that he is incredibly well-endowed. Suddenly the jocks feel threatened by him, people pay attention to him in the halls, and the most beautiful girl in school, Jenny Swanson (Amber Lancaster) invites him to her sweet sixteen party. Although he is still bullied by Jenny's boyfriend, jock Max Owens (Jayson Blair) RJ fights his shyness and starts to find his way up the popularity ladder. RJ Berger might not have all the answers, but he is determined to make the best out of the rest of his high school career. Will RJ ever get Jenny's attention and be able shove off his nerdy reputation for good, or will RJ's special gift soon be forgotten by his fickle peers?
