The Goode Family

The Goode Family was an animated sitcom from ABC starring voice actors Mike Judge, David Herman, Nancy Carell, Linda Cardellini, Brian Doyle-Murray, and Dee Bradley Baker. The series centers Gerald Goode (Mike Judge), a community college administrator, and his wife Helen (Nancy Carell), a community activist, who together live by the motto WWAGD (“What Would Al Gore Do?”) They’re dedicated vegans and green activists, although even their best politically correct plans go wrong. Their adopted son Ubuntu (David Herman) is naturally gifted in sports but still sleeps in footy pajamas. Their biological daughter Bliss (Linda Cardellini) tends to play Devil’s Advocate to her parents’ world view. Even their dog Che (Dee Bradley Baker) is a vegan, against his wishes. Helen’s dad Charlie (Brian Doyle-Murphy), who often ridicules his daughter’s family but takes a liking to Ubuntu, rounds out the cast. Together, the obsessively green Goode family insists on shopping at natural food stores and referring to all ethnic groups correctly.
