The George Carlin Show

The George Carlin Show is a sitcom from legendary comedian George Carlin and Simpsons co-creator Sam Simon. The show aired for two seasons on the Fox network, an dhad a run of twenty-seven episodes. The George Carlin Show follows the everyday adventures of George O'Grady (Carlin), a traxi driver living in New York City. Most of the action took place in a bar, owned by Jack Donahue (Anthony Starke). The bar was based on a tavern that a younger George Carlin frequently visited. Carlin would later admit that while he enjoyed his experience on the show immensely, there was a fundamental difference between him and his fellow producer Sam Simon. Supporting characters include Paige French as Sydney, Michael G. Hagerty as Frank MacNamara, Christopher Rich as Dr. Neil Beck, and Alex Rocco as Henry Rossetti.
