The Fresh Beat Band is a Nickelodeon musical sitcom for preschoolers featuring the Fresh Beats, formerly known as the Jump Arounds, a band of four best friends, Marina (Shayna Rose), Kiki (Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer), Twist (Jon Beavers), and Shout (Thomas Hobson). The four upbeat friends have a band where Twist mans the turntable and beatboxing, Kiki plays the guitar and violin, Marina bangs the drums, and Shout plays the keyboard. The Fresh Beats use music to solve problems, singing their way through solutions to problems that relate to preschool aged children. The friends adventures include throwing surprise birthday parties, performing magic tricks, and playing in a parade. They love to hang out at the Groovy smoothie, owned by Melody, and the Music store, owned by their friend Reed.
