The Fall Guy

The Fall Guy is the ABC action TV show about Hollywood stunt man Colt Seavers (Lee Majors), who works on the side as a bounty hunter, hunting for criminals with the help of his cousin Howie Munson (Douglas Barr) and Jody Banks (Heather Thomas), both of which are also stunt performers. Work in Hollywood as a stunt man can be sporadic, so he fills in the gaps by hunting down wanted criminals to receive the cash bounties. Colt was known for his truck, a GMC 4x4 that he had tricked out with a lift, off road tires, a custom roll bar, a secret compartment for hiding weapons, and a painted eagle on the hood. The show usually begins with Colt and his crew performing a stunt for their Hollywood productions, then taking on a case to hunt down a fugitive or criminal who has skipped bail. The crew takes off on the hunt, riding in the truck in high-speed chases and massive jumps. Their stunt training gives them the upper hand against the criminals, and they usually end up performing a stunt similar to the one they did on set at the beginning of the show.
