The Bionic Woman is an ABC science fiction series starring Lindsay Wagner that spun off from another classic science fiction series, The Six Million Dollar Ma Wagner plays Jaime Sommers, a beautiful young tennis professional who falls in love with Steve Austin, the mechanically-enhanced super agent from The Six Million Dollar Man. In a desperate attempt to save her, Steve gets his bosses at the Office of Scientific Intelligence to rebuild her like they rebuilt him. When Jaime reawakens, she has two new bionic legs that allow her to run at speeds up to sixty miles per hour. She has a new arm that can lift tremendous weights easily, and her new ear can hear a whisper a mile away. The Bionic Woman first appeared as an episode of The Six Million Dollar Man.
