The Bill Engvall Show

The Bill Engvall Show is an extremely funny sitcom starring Bill Engvall that originally aired on TBS but was cancelled after three seasons. Bill Engvall was a certified family counselor but in an interesting comic twist had trouble dealing with his own family. Both Bill and his wife Susan, played by Nancy Travis, have trouble teaching their three kids valuable lessons in today's modern world. Bill Engvall comes from a comedic background as part of the Blue Collar comedy team along with Larry the Cable Guy and Jeff Foxworthy. The show also featured SNL alum, Tim Meadows, who played Bill Engvall's best friend in the series. Bill Engvall and Tim Meadows' characters actually knew each other since the early '80's. The real star of the Bill Engvall Show though was the older son, Trent Person, played by Graham Patrick Martin, who took a unique comic approach to the somewhat stale medium of situation comedy. Although the series was cancelled, the first season of The Bill Engvall Show became available on DVD which included an "Ask Bill" segment. MORE
