The Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot

The Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot is an animated science fiction superhero TV series developed by Fox that centers on Rusty, a boy-like robot who has to learn how to handle his future position as Earth's last line of defense by following around his predecessor, Big Guy, a giant clunker of a battle suit controlled by Lieutenant Dwayne Hunter. Developed by Quark Industries as the most advanced robot in history with a real learning artificial intelligence and super powerful nucleoprotons, Rusty is really just a little boy with nuclear potential. As he takes on his new job training with gusto and enthusiasm, Hunter, Rusty's 'mother' Dr. Erika Slate, and Big Guy's pit crew, Jo, Mack, and Garth, have to keep the secret that Big Guy is not the robot hero Rusty thinks he is but is just a suit. It is tough being a boy robot but it does not stop the fun from ending as Rusty and Big Guy take on the squid-like aliens of the Squillacci Empire, an earlier version of Rusty named Earl, and the creepy Legion Ex Machina before they do any real damage to Earth and its humans.
