The Beautiful Life: TBL is a show on the CW that glimpses into the glamour and drama of models trying to make it in New York City. Sara Paxton stars as Raina Marinelli, an aspiring model slated to be the next big thing. She enters the world of the Fashion Agency, headed by owner Claudia Foster (Elle Macpherson), along with newcomer Chris Andrews (Ben Hollingsworth), fresh from a small town and new to the big city, Isaac Taylor (Corbin Bleu), a former child model aiming to get back on top, Cole Shepherd (Nico Tortorella), an underwear model, Marissa Delfina (Ashley Madekwe), a model and socialite, and Sonja Stone (Mischa Barton), a supermodel who has just returned from a mysterious period of absence. Sonja has a reputation for being difficult to work with, and her disappearance hasn’t helped her any, but she’s not pleased about Raina’s arrival and isn’t willing to share the spotlight. Luckily Raina has new friends Chris and Isaac, as well as the support of Claudia, to succeed as a model while staying out of Sonja’s way. As the models get to know each other, the gossip, backstabbing, and drama isn’t far behind, and some people will do anything to get to the top- even if it means climbing over each other. MORE
