The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes

The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is an animated Marvel series based on the smash superhero team the Avengers. The series debuted on the channel Disney XD in early Fall 2010, and originally consisted of a 20-part "micro-series." Based upon the original work of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes consists of some of the biggest superheroes in the game including Iron Man, the Hulk, Captain America, Thor, the Wasp, and Ant-Man. The story of the show is centered around the Avengers and their battles with the world's most dangerous criminals, most of whom having recently escaped from their maximum-security prisons. The list of supervillains includes all of the big names from Cobra and Doctor Doom to Radioactive Man and Whiplash. With the help of S.H.I.E.L.D., the Avengers have taken it upon themselves to protect all of the citizens of humanity and combat the rise of darkness, wherever it may strike.
