The Ashlee Simpson Show

The Ashlee Simpson Show is a two season reality show about the life of Ashlee Simpson, younger sister to Jessica Simpson. The series ran for two seasons with a total of eighteen episodes each 25 minutes long and ran from 2003 through 2005. The first season begins with Ashlee signing her first record deal and focuses on her recording her first album. The season ends with the album's release. During each episode Ashlee takes time to talk into the camera to reflect on her thoughts and feelings. Much of the show consists of Ashlee's process of writing and recording, but it also covers the breakup with her boyfriend. The second season focuses on Ashlee's life after the release of her first album, and shows how she prepares for her first nationwide tour. An episode covers her memorable appearance on Saturday Night Live. This season gives a personal look into the crazy new world that success can bring and ends with Ashlee's first tour.
