The 25th Anniversary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concert Description
The 25th Anniversary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concert aired on HBO as a four hour special on Sunday, November 29, 2009. The special event took place in Madison Square Garden in New York City for two nights, on October 24 and 25 of 2009. As the title suggests, this special featured a variety of musical performances, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the opening of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. Tom Hanks openeed the show, introducing the musicians. Musical Artists from many generations performed in this concert. Some of the concert's performers included: Stevie Wonder, Crosby Stills & Nash, Aretha Franklin, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Smokey Robinson, B.B. King and Metallica.
