Technology Jones

Technology Jones is a 2008 reality television series produced by Mojo. Directed by Alan White, its premise is to take a technology dependent modern professional and strip them of all their gadgets and doodads. Can they make do with the now obsolete methods of the past? Many have fantasized about leaving modern society and its constant stream of information from the internet, cell phones, GPS devices, and palm pilots, but what happens when they actually try to live without the luxuries much of the modern world takes for granted? When a recording artist's CD player and MP3 player are replaced by a vinyl record player, he quickly finds out just how technology dependent we have become, and that it's hard to go back in time.
