Tattoo Highway, a documentary televisions series, follows tattoo artist Thomas Pendelton as he and his crew drive around the American Southwest. Traveling in a Silver Eagle Tour Bus converted into a mobile tattoo parlor, Pendelton and his wife, Monica Pendelton, travel the country in search of stories that need to be told and the tattoos needed to reflect those stories. In each location, the crew is invited to get to know the personal lives of those in search of tattoos. Narrated by Pendelton, his team of artists works with doctors, morticians, lawyers and everyone in between. Chronicling every step of tattoo design, the audience watches as Pendelton begins with a small sketch and finished with a completed tattoo. Pendelton takes ideas from the client and incorporates his own into the finished product to create a tattoo that fully realizes his craft. Produced by Juma Entertainment, Tattoo Highway premiered in May of 2009 and aired 13 episodes on the A&E network.MORE
