Sungkyunkwan Scandal

Sungkyunkwan Scandal starring Micky Yoochun, the famous musical artist from the Korean pop boy band DBSK, is a romantic comedy that's based on actual events. The story follows Kim Yoon Hee (Park Min Young), a smart girl who is forced to impersonate a man and looks for whatever jobs she can get in order to take care of her underprivileged family. Though jobs are hard to come by, Yoon Hee is able to excel at a particular task where she creates study guides for the cheating students of upper-class families. Eventually Yoon Hee is given the proposition to actually take one of the tests in substitute for one of the students. Unable to turn do the large amount of money that is offered her, Yoon Hee decides to take the test in the student's place, but unfortunately, is discovered during the process. Lee Sun Joon, an upstanding boy, is the one who discovers that she's not an actual student and turns her in. Though he turns her in, Sun Joon still believes that Yoon Hee is a boy, and impressed with her knowledge, decides to help her get into Sungkyunkwan University on her own merit. Excited by the possibility, Yoon Hee takes Sun Joon up on his proposition, and knowingly enters into a world in which she must further hide the truth about her gender. MORE
