Stroker and Hoop

Stroker and Hoop is an animated series on Cartoon Networ's Adult Swim. The series follows Stroker and Hoop, a private investigator duo on the city beat in Los Angeles. The series is a parody on the good-cop, bad-cop troupe as seen in films and television series, much like Starsky and Hutch. Both Stroker and Hoop live in a by-gone era, dressing in 1970s fashion and speaking archaic slang. Both characters suffer from delusions of grandeur Ñ Stroker believing himself to be a dashing ladies man and Hoop believing he is cunning and discreet. They are able to edge out their competition, however barely, through C.A.R.R., a talking AMC Pacer car with a personality of its own. This motley crew then are forced into the lowest, strangest and most hilarious of situations as they attempt to put their skills together to solve detective cases within the city of Los Angeles. MORE
