Steven Seagal: Lawman

Steven Seagal Lawman is reality television show airing on A&E focused on action star Steven Seagal ( that's right, Steven Seagal), known for his performances in action films such as Fire Down Below, Into the Sun, and Hard To Kill, as he works as a deputy police officer for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office in Louisiana. The back story goes that in the late 1980s, Seagal was in Louisiana shooting a film and was asked by the local sheriff to train his deputies in various areas such as unarmed combat, due to the fact that Seagal is a world class martial artist and practitioner of aikido. After this successful partnership between the actor and the police department, Seagal was hired as a reserve deputy. Since then, he has spent time in Jefferson Parish and regularly goes out on patrol and works on high-profile cases with the regular deputies. The show takes you inside Seagal's work: on patrols, making busts, conducting training, and his home life in Jefferson Parrish. Seagal's celebrity occasionally interferes with his work, creating unintentionally funny moments such as a man being arrested and saying "Oh Man, thas Steven Seagal!" over again in disbelief.
