Spider-Man: The New Animated Series follows the continued adventures of everyone's favorite web slinger, presented by MTV with a slick new look and talented cast. Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother, Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-Long Blog) stars as Peter Parker, a brainy kid using his incredible powers to fight crime as the costumed super hero, Spider-Man. The New Animated Series picks up where the 2002 Spider-Man feature film leaves off, with Peter attending college and hiding his secret identity. His friends Mary Jane Watson and Harry Osborn are played by voice-actors Lisa Loeb and Ian Ziering. Peter has to juggle his real life with his Spider-Man life in order to protect the people he loves, while his best friend Harry still blames Spider-Man for the death of his father and is out for revenge. Classic Marvel villains like Electro and Kingpin appear in The New Animated Series, trying to defeat Spider-Man and carry out their evil plans.
