Sonny With a Chance

In Sonny With a Chance on the Disney Channel, teenager Sunny Munroe (Demi Lovato) gets the chance of a lifetime when the producer of her favorite sketch comedy TV show So Random! sees her hilarious web videos and invites her to be on the show with her favorite cast members like Tawni Hart (Tiffany Thornton) and Nico Harris (Brandon Michael Smith). But when Sunny arrives from Wisconsin to be a part of the action, she finds that it may be harder than she thought to find her place in an ensemble cast of longtime friends. Tawni is immediately jealous of Sunny as she's used to being the star and doesn't like feeling threatened and Nico, Grady, and Zora take a little time to warm up to her. Sunny is determined not to give up on her dream and slowly starts to become closer with most of the cast, but that doesn't mean the end of her problems- she also develops a love/hate relationship with Chad Dylan Cooper (Sterling Knight), star of Mackenzie Falls, So Random!'s rival show that shoots on a nearby soundstage.
