Sonic X is an animated fantasy action adventure TV series developed by Tokyo Movie Shinsha based on the popular Sonic the Hedgehog video game series that centers on a daredevil of a speedster, Sonic, whose nose for trouble and adventure puts him against the rotten mad scientist Dr. Eggman. Thanks to his title as the world's fastest hedgehog (and most likely the world's fastest anything), Sonic has always remained one-step ahead of the nefarious plotter. But when Sonic and his friends, two-tailed Tails, Sonic's girlfriend Amy Rose, and shy and super strong Knuckles the Echidna, are caught off guard in an explosion while saving Cream the Rabbit and Cheese the Chao, the crew find themselves not quite home anymore.
