Skins is an MTV original scripted series that's based off the smash hit British television show of the same name. Helmed by the same creators as the original (Bryan Eisley and Jamie Brittain), the American version promises to hold true to the provocative, jaw-dropping storylines of the original. Whether it's sex, drugs, parties, school, friendship or heartbreak, Skins has it all, though unlike other television shows that focus on these subjects in a "cleaned-up" manner, Skins does not. Skins may at times embellish antics or be a little over-the-top, presents all of the joys and grit of teenage life and does so in a more truthful and realistic way. Though viewers may flock to the show for the T&A and the partying that's depicted, it's the personal relationships and emotionally invested storylines that have helped separate the show from the other teen dramas.MORE
