Sit Down, Shut Up is a FOX animated television series from Emmy Award-winning creator Mitchell Hurwitz about high school teachers in small town Florida who could care less about teaching high school. Rather than focus on any real teaching-based issues they might encounter, the series deals primarily with the comically over-dramatic drama between the teachers in their social and professional lives. Mitchell Hurwitz is well-known for his previous show, Arrested Development, which won multiple Emmys and earned a spot on many lists of the best comedies of all time. Sit Down, Shut Up received a tremendous amount of hype leading up to its premiere because it reunites Hurwitz with three Arrested Development actors—Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Henry Winkler. The all-star cast of voice actors also includes Saturday Night Live veterans Cheri Oteri and Will Forte, as well as Kenan Thompson as the hard-boiled acting principal, Sue Sezno.
