Sinbad's Family Affair

Sinbad: It's Just Family is the WE - Women's Entertainment reality series that follows comedian Sinbad as he works to make things right with his family and his career. Sinbad got his start appearing on Star Search, where he beat out fellow comedian Dennis Miller. In 1987 he landed a role on A Different World, a The Cosby Show spin-off, and his career took off from there, as Sinbad got his own TV show, as well as starring in films like Houseguest, First Kid and Jingle All the Way. He was at the top of the game with his own sitcom, talk show, and movie career, but it all went away. The shows were canceled, and his marriage fell apart. Now 15 years later, the comedian is looking for a second chance. He kicked the 30-plus person entourage off his payroll, fired his agent, and has remarried his college sweetheart ex-wife Meredith. The couple and their family have moved back into their original home with children Paige and Royce, and the family goes to work on their careers together. Sinbad is heading back to his passion, stand-up comedy, but it won't be an easy track.
