Silver Surfer

Silver Surfer is the Fox animated series that follows the adventures of Marvel hero The Silver Surfer. The Silver Surfer emerged when a young astronomer named Norrin Radd made a bargain with cosmic entity Galactus to save his homeworld. He agreed to serve as his herald to stop the destruction of his planet, and when given some of Galactus' Power Cosmic, he became the reflective silver man with the ability to surf faster than the speed of light. Now the Surfer is given the task of roaming the galaxy to find planets which Galactus can consume, but one of them he refuses to let Galactus destroy, which leaves him exiled. The series has a blend of traditional cel animation with computer animation to match the style of creator Jack Kirby. The show is faithful to the comic books, bringing many characters from the books to life on screen, like Thanos, the Watcher, Mentor, and Pip the Troll.
