Shugo Chara! Party is a Japanese anime television series based on a manga of the same name that aired from 2009 to 2010. The Shugo Chara series focuses on Amu Hinamori, an elementary school aged girl who is rumored to lead a very exciting life. This is not the case, however, as Amu is not very confident at all. She wishes for her true courage to reveal itself and awakens to find three eggs in her room. The eggs hatch and out come Ran, Miki, and Su; these are Amu Hinamori's new guardians and guides to realize her full potential. Her life becomes more exciting, but also more complicated. Amu Hinamori is chosen by the Seyo Elementary school Guardians to be the Joker in a search for the X eggs and the X Characters who infiltrate dreams. The Easter Company is also searching people's eggs to find the supposed Embryo egg which can grant wishes. It is believed this process is the reason the X Eggs and X Characters were created.
