Shockwave

Shockwave is an american disaster documentary television series that premiered in 2007 on the History Channel. It takes raw footage from catastrophic events all over the world and then uses modern digital graphics to further explain the footage and use 3-D views to show an enhanced view on what happened. It also interviews eyewitnesses who were on the scenes of tragedy and horror and survived to tell the tale. The show has tackled such tragedies as the United Airlines Flight 232 crach, the USS Forrestal fire, the Killdozer, the Mount Hood hiking incident, the deadly Ramstein Airshow disaster, the Minneapolis bridge collapse and the PEPCON disaster. The show often re-uses footage from the following earlier shows: 'World's Most Amazing Videos,' 'National Geographic's Seconds from Disaster,' 'Situation Critical,' 'Destroyed in Seconds' and 'Most Daring.' It has aired 2 seasons so far with a total of 26 episodes. MORE
