Shining Inheritance

Shining Inheritance is a romantic drama TV series developed by SBS that centers on the upturned life of Go Eun Sung when her father’s death leaves her family using whatever insurance money they receive to clear his numerous debts. When her stepmother kicks her and her autistic brother, Eun Woo (Yun Joon Suk), to the curb while taking the money for her and her daughter, Yoo Seung Mi (Moon Chae Won), Eun Sung can’t go back to school in New York but instead works a small dumpling stall. To make matters worse, Eun Woo has disappeared. Sun-Woo Hwan (Lee Seung Gi) had been studying in New York as well but when his grandmother, Jang Sook Ja (Ban Hyo Jung), calls him back to Korea in order to start preparing to become the next heir of her food company. Arrogant and headstrong, a mix up at the airport brings Eun Sung and Hwan together to bicker and start the beginnings of their cold acquaintanceship. Things change however when Hwan’s grandmother, Sook Ja, stumbles upon Eun Sung, who takes care of her despite her ignorance to who she is and barely had enough money to support the two of them.
